Well our camping trip to Black Rock Park for our 12th anniversary went great! Not too hot, nice breeze, and Lake Buchanan being right outside our cabin door was refreshing.

This is the mini-cabin we stayed in. Had a/c, fan, electricity and 4 beds inside.

Sweet boy

The T-Rex getting ready to roast marshmallows. There was a burn ban, so we just had to use the heat from the charcoal left from our grill fire to cook them. Worked great.

Lars spent most of his time, throwing rocks in the water. "Big Rock" he kept saying.

Daddy doing a little fishing with Kristin. We forgot to get worms, so no bites, but Kristin enjoyed it regardless.

Nap time at the river

Kristin looking for fish and attempting to catch them with her bare hands, she never did succeed...

Awake now, and ready to go

In May was our first trip camping with the kids. We went to Pedernales State Park, unfortunately it was hotter than normal that weekend almost 100, but luckily we had the lovely river to cool off in. We go again tomorrow for our second camping trip, this time we will have an a/c cabin though, much better way to go in close to 100 degree heat!

We went to Florida in April, and had a great time see Grandpa and Eva.
Below is our attempt to get a couple of group shots, hard to get everyone to cooperate :)

Love this picture of Lars with his sand covered face.
